Job Description
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Surveyor I, II, or III to join their growing team. The role involves providing high-level surveying services to the underground mining group, training and developing the team, and performing survey projects as directed. The company is focused on being a valued gold mining business committed to a safe and sustainable work environment.
Requirements
- Proven safe work and attendance record
- Tertiary education in survey principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles in underground mining, engineering construction, with surface experience preferred
- Minimum of eight (8) years extensive surveying work experience
- Strong knowledge and proven use of current survey software and hardware
- Well-developed problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong math and computer skills
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
