The Mediengruppe Mitteldeutsche Zeitung and Mediengruppe Magdeburg is seeking an Editor to join their local editorial offices in the Salzland district. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant topics, redacting and laying out texts, and ensuring content and design quality for online and print formats.

Requirements

• Completed journalistic education or experience in local journalism or a comparable field
• Interest in regional topics and the people of Saxony-Anhalt
• Secure handling of digital tools or willingness to further develop this skill
• Experience with social networks and other platforms
• Strong communication skills, secure appearance, and joy in working in a team
• Possession of a Class B driving license
