Substance Abuse Counselor

The Substance Use Counselor will assist patients through medically assisting treatments and offer techniques for handling opioid addiction, conducting individual and group sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field.
• Certified as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of West Virginia
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is preferred
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
