Job Description
Growing direct annuity writer seeks experienced Statutory/Investment Accountant to join finance team. Role will be responsible for reporting on financial activities related to the investment portfolio of a Life and Annuity Insurance Company, maintaining investment records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- CPA and Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/related
- 5+ years of GAAP and statutory reporting experience with focus on investments
- Strong knowledge of regulatory framework for investment accounting principles/practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software/investment management systems
