Interior Design CAD Technologist (12 month contract)

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technologist with strong industrial and commercial drafting and design experience to join our development team. This role is responsible for developing Interior design tenant improvement packages across multiple provinces.

Requirements

• Completion of a 2- or 4-year technical diploma/degree in drafting, architectural technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting and design for light industrial, commercial, or interior projects.
• Familiarity with Building Permit drawings or an equivalent combination of training and professional experience.
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD)—specifically AutoCAD 2018+ and 3D SketchUp—as well as MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve design or constructability issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of interior designers, architects, and other professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, write, interpret, and analyze complex documents.
