Job Description
Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems. The Director of Materials Engineering will lead a cross-functional team to execute complex research and development programs in materials science.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience leading technical project teams
- 15+ years' experience executing technical projects
- Jet engine design, analysis, or materials engineering experience
- Subject matter expertise in materials science, and related post-processes
- Experience managing complex projects on time and within budget while managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to develop and deliver program updates to executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of project and changing management principles
- Experience working within a toll gate review process for development projects
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and agility in a growing company
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a related field or equivalent, relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
