Requirements

• Reads and uses blueprints, schematics, specifications, mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings to effect repairs
• Fabricates and installs metallic and non-metallic parts
• Inspects equipment on a regular basis as part of preventive maintenance program
• Determines cause of breakdowns; removes, disassembles, cleans and lubricates all assemblies as appropriate
• Repairs or salvages defective components
• Performs snow/ice removal as requested
• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures
• Familiar with the Medical Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values Statements
