Job Description
This Legal Intern position at the Public Defender's Department of Reading, PA, focuses on legal research and writing, assisting with legal matters. Interns will perform essential functions, such as researching legal issues and data entry, and will also perform miscellaneous tasks.
Requirements
- Admission to Accredited Law School
- General knowledge of PA Criminal Law
- Familiarity with West Law or Lexis Nexis legal research
- Ability to use Windows based computer programs
- Good oratory and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle stress
- Physical presence in the office
