Job Description
Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies is seeking a Small Business Underwriter to join its Northern California team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Economics, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in underwriting support or small business underwriting.
Requirements
- Successfully complete the Underwriting Training Program
- Evaluate new and renewal business in accordance with established guidelines
- Aid more experienced underwriting personnel in developing and maintaining agency relationships
