Job Description
Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies is looking for a Solutions Architect 2 to drive the definition, design and implementation of technology reference implementations, shared components and/or core application frameworks. The role will require experience with the Microsoft technology stack, third party services and proprietary builds, and a strong understanding of security, DevOps and cloud strategy.
Requirements
- 7+ years in software engineering and application development
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise, application, technical, or information architecture
- Proven experience with modern software development environment that is Agile and incorporates CI/CD and DevOps
- Experience with Web UI technologies such as JavaScript, CSS/SCSS/LESS, MVC, Bootstrap, Kendo UI, JQuery
- Experience with multiple JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Node.js
- Experience with platforms/technologies such as Microservices, NoSQL, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, Service Fabric and Logic App
