Job Description
Gain insights into the editorial work of the Kulturmagazine from Berndt Media during a 3-6 month internship, developing journalistic skills and supporting the planning, production, and reflection of monthly issues. Compensation includes an allowance, with a possible takeover after the internship.
Requirements
- Building and developing journalistic skills
- Support in administration, technology, and editing
- Independent work with the CMS, editorial organization
- Online editing: writing news and articles
- Managing social media channels
- (editorial) Marketing
- Affinity to journalism
- Secure knowledge of German grammar and spelling
- Lived interest in cultural events in Cologne & NRW
- Patience and interest in all aspects of editorial work
- Care and personal commitment
- Writing talent and ideally text samples
- Computer and internet skills (MS-Office applications)
- Experience with content management systems, Adobe CC, and HTML
