Manager, Software Engineering

BetaNXT is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Data Delivery team who will own the delivery of production-grade, cloud-hosted data-as-a-service platforms built on Snowflake.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data or software engineering, including engineering leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and cloud-native architecture.
• Hands-on exposure to Snowflake and modern data tooling (e.g., Kafka, Airflow, Kinesis, DBT).
• Experience leading teams through Agile delivery and SDLC best practices.
• Ability to balance technical depth with people leadership and stakeholder management.
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Working knowledge of Python and scripting languages.
• Experience operating data platforms on a scale in AWS.
