Senior System Administrator

Role Overview

As a Senior System Administrator, you will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for design, support and maintenance of IT Systems and Peripherals for the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

What You Will Do

Deploy, configure, and manage Windows workstation and server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the VMware environment, including design, deployment, maintenance, and storage configuration.

Must currently possess or commit to obtaining any requisite certifications required for assuming administrative role in accordance with DoD 8140 within 6 months of hiring date. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field
• 8 plus years of progressively relevant IT experience (Grade 09)
• 11 plus years of progressively relevant IT experience (Grade 10)
• Must currently possess or commit to obtaining any requisite certifications required for assuming administrative role in accordance with DoD 8140 within 6 months of hiring date
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network
• Current US Citizenship required
