Job Description
BGIS is seeking a Building Automation Specialist I or II to support service and construction activities for our Western Canada Building Automation team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple BAS platforms and will work closely with senior technicians, project teams, and operations groups to deliver reliable, high-quality building automation solutions.
Requirements
- 3â6 years of hands-on Building Automation / Controls experience
- Proven experience working with one or more of the following BAS platforms: Delta Controls, Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure / Continuum / SmartX), Honeywell, Siemens
- Strong understanding of BACnet/IP and MS/TP networks, field devices, low-voltage wiring, and control schematics
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and a professional client-facing approach
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
