BGIS Sustainable Cleaning Solutions is seeking a Cleaner to join their team. The Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning in a designated zone, with an emphasis on quality control, health and safety, and exceeding client expectations.
Requirements
- Experience in performing various cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance activities in an institutionalized environment
- Experience in using floor maintenance machines, cleaning equipment, materials and solutions
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the provisions that apply to this work including WHMIS
- Ability to lift, push and pull heavy items as well as climb ladders
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, clients and the general public
- Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays and shifts as assigned as well as work in multiple locations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, prepare and maintain manual and electronic records
- Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
- Must meet security clearance requirements, where applicable
- Must have a valid Class G license (may be required)
