Job Description
Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally and has a vacancy for an Application Infrastructure Engineer to offer his/her services as an expert remotely within EU.
Requirements
- University Degree in IT and at least 10 years of IT professional experience;
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working as an IT professional in mid/large IT infrastructure environments;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an IT professional in the area of application administration;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with micro-services, container orchestration and container-based stacks such as Docker or Kubernetes;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Public or Hybrid Cloud services and solutions (AZURE or AWS) would be an asset;
- Good knowledge of the deployment and administration of Elasticsearch clusters;
- Good knowledge of micro-services, container orchestration and container-based stacks using Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker and Rancher;
- Good knowledge of configuration management concepts and technologies (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chocolatey);
- Good knowledge of shell and/or PowerShell scripting;
- Good knowledge of ITIL, including the incident, change and release management processes;
- Good knowledge of DEVOPS will be an asset;
- Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MS SQL, PostgreSQL) and how they interact with applications will be an asset;
- Good knowledge of Kong API Gateway will be an asset;
- Good knowledge of Public or Hybrid Cloud services and solutions (Azure or AWS) will be an asset;
- Relevant certifications would be considered advantageous;
- Excellent command of the English language.
