Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day deployment, management, and optimization of our AWS networking environment. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of progressively senior experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a proven ability to design scalable systems, drive end-to-end initiatives, and influence cloud architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of progressively senior experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
- 5+ years of experience with VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, and Security Groups
- Solid understanding of ELB (Elastic Load Balancing) and Route 53 (including private zones and record management)
- Practical experience (or strong theoretical knowledge with lab experience) in Transit Gateway and Direct Connect
- Proficiency in writing and debugging Terraform or AWS CloudFormation scripts
- Strong grasp of the OSI model, TCP/IP, and CIDR notation
- Proven ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues within complex cloud environments
