Role Overview

Collect samples for analysis, operate and maintain gas equipment and analytical instrumentation, and perform wet chemistry tests in a chemistry lab setting.

What You Will Do

Collect samples, clean labware, perform wet chemistry tests, make mechanical connections, and use basic computer software.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Prior experience in a chemistry lab setting is a plus, and the ability to handle hazardous chemicals and flammable liquids is required.

Requirements

• Collecting samples from gas cylinders
• Cleaning laboratory labware
• Performing some wet chemistry tests
• Making mechanical connections
• Leak checking of equipment
• Use of basic computer software
• Handling flammable liquids, acidic and caustic solutions and materials
• Previous experience and familiar with PPE used in handling chemicals
• Accurate, legible documentation and recording of all required lab data
• Conducting analytical tests using a variety of instruments
