Job Description
BorgWarner is seeking a Data Science Intern to join its Corporate Advanced Technology Development team. The successful candidate will support the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions for proof-of-concept projects and work on-site 3 days a week in Auburn Hills, MI. The role requires a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred) or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with data science tools and platforms (e.g., Jupyter Notebooks).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
