
Job description
Implement, support, and/or manage Supplier Development strategies and performance to ensure flawless launches of new programs. Responsibilities include leading APQP process, coordinating technical reviews, and developing supplier capabilities to meet BorgWarner requirements.
Conduct Supplier Quality training, drive performance improvements at the supplier, issue and track Quality problems, control and guide supplier quality control for purchasing parts, and review and make disposition on Supplier PPAP submissions.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of Quality Engineering experience in the automotive industry, knowledge of manufacturing problem solving, and experience with QS-9000 requirements, APQP, and PPAP.
