Job Description
Boston Medical Center is seeking a Senior Director, Finance and Contracting to lead the development and implementation of system contracting and finance strategies, goals and objectives. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of progressive management experience in hospital, group practice or managed care plan, with a strong knowledge of financial, contractual and operational requirements of managed care organizations, hospital and group practices.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressive management experience in hospital, group practice or managed care plan
- Leadership role in managed care and contract finance
- Strong knowledge of funds flow methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of analytical ability, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers
- Strong contract negotiation skills and abilities
- Excellent organization and management skills, the ability to set strategy and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent management and communication skills
