Sr. Java Developer

We are seeking a Sr. Java Developer to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have 9-10 years of experience in Web application design and development, strong Core Java skills, and experience with Spring MVC module, RESTful Web Services, and jQuery - JSON, XML, AngularJS.

Requirements

• Minimum 9-10 years of experience in Web application design and development
• Minimum 8 years development experience in Java/J2EE technologies
• Very strong working experience with Spring MVC module and proficient knowledge of components
• RESTful Web Services hands on experience and integration with Spring
• Familiarity with AJAX techniques and modern JavaScript libraries like jQuery and working with JSON, any experience with HTML5 is ideal
• Must have good understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, maintainability, security)
• Familiarity with Web application security considerations
• Expert level skills in Object-Oriented software design
• Medium level skills in SQL and database design
• Desirable knowledge includes P&C Insurance industry, JBOSS, ESB (Mule), Rule Engines, JSON, JUnit, Web Services, Unix Shell Scripting
