Job Description
We are looking for a SQE Engineer to join our team at Bourns. As an SQE Engineer, you will be responsible for managing supplier problems, providing quality support to production, and ensuring the integrity of raw materials. You will also be responsible for reviewing and evaluating PPAPs, supervising receipt inspection processes, and monitoring supplier performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality methodology, customer orientation, and problem-solving, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the maquiladora industry.
Requirements
- Industrial, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineer degree
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the maquiladora industry
- Advanced level of English
- Knowledge of Quality Standard IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
- General Quality Tools, PPAP, and APQP
- Interpretation of Plans
- Dimensional Metrology
- SAP
- Mexican Passport and Visa for the United States (desirable but not mandatory)
