Job Description
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant providing coordinated speech therapy to pediatric patients under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist. The role involves administering treatment plans, documenting progress, coordinating care with other professionals, and ensuring infection control. It is a home-based position requiring consistent reliable transport.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or University in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Current Texas Drivers License
- Two years experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting, home health preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance
- Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board
- Consistent reliable transport and work
