Security Specialist – Industrial

Role Overview

The Security Specialist – Industrial will provide security support under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and manage activities to protect classified information. The role involves coordinating SAP and collateral security requirements, communicating secure facility construction and accreditation standards, and maintaining security activities at bed down locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a security related discipline
• Three (3) years of experience in a security related field
• Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations
• Available to work before/after typical office hours
• Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive
• Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literate
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask
• Senior Level Knowledge of: ICD 705, DoD SAP Manuals, UFC Constitution Criteria, Supply Chain Risk Management, DoD Directives, IC Directives, and NISPOM.
• TS/SCI clearance - Special Access Required (SAR)
• Achieve Industrial Security Oversight Certification (CDSE) within one year of hire.
