Job Description
Brock University is seeking an Instrument Technologist to operate the VPMI's suite of analytical instrumentation to perform routine chemical analyses and design specialized methods for internal and external clients.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience with the operation and maintenance of GC-MS and/or LC-MS instrumentation for a variety of methods
- Proven track record of independently developing and validating an analytical method for research or industrial project
- Experience in complex sample preparation techniques (e.g., SPE, liquid-liquid extraction, or derivatization) tailored for MS analysis
