Manager, Tax

Reporting to the Vice President, Taxation, this newly created position will be part of Brookfield Asset Management’s Corporate tax group. This role will primarily involve operational tax matters in Brookfield Asset Management and will work closely with other members of the Tax teams in Brookfield’s business groups globally.

Requirements

• CPA with at least 5 years of progressive corporate tax experience at a national public accounting firm or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with Canadian tax compliance and tax accounting
• Strong working knowledge of Canadian tax rules including foreign affiliates
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to describe complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner
