Lead Wind Technician

The Lead Wind Technician is responsible for planned and unplanned maintenance of the Kingman wind and solar asset, training technicians, and troubleshooting complex systems. This role requires hands-on experience with wind turbine and PV solar generation systems, high voltage systems, and related equipment.

Requirements

• Follow health, safety, security, and environmental procedures
• Plan and execute mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical component maintenance
• Perform complex troubleshooting and repair of wind turbine platforms
• Travel and assist remote assets as needed
• Participate in a rotating On Call shift
• Use electrical test equipment to verify isolation and assist in troubleshooting of complex systems
• Perform High, Medium and Low Voltage switching
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle
• Read and comprehend electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Document inventory, time, and work descriptions in a computer-based management system
