Job Description
WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a skilled Wind Technician to support Westinghouse’s mission to provide clean energy solutions. The role involves diagnosing and repairing wind turbine generators and control systems, as well as maintaining wind turbine equipment and facilities. This position requires travel, and a commitment to a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.
Requirements
- Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control systems
- Climb wind turbine towers to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment
- Test electrical components of wind systems
- Perform routine maintenance on wind turbine equipment
- Collect turbine data for testing or research and analysis
- Conduct inspections or repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems
- Travel and perform other duties as assigned
