Job Description
Buckland is looking for a Customs Compliance Specialist to assist on compliance projects for major clients and provide Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification of goods. The role requires professional communication with team members, clients, suppliers, and government representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Transportation/International Business, or related discipline.
- US Customs broker's license and/or CCS designation preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3 years of qualification experience with expert knowledge of FTA Rules of Origin and RVC calculations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools with advanced knowledge of Excel and Access (preferred).
- Professional and mature demeanor.
- Good research and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
