We are seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee fleet operations at multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and policies. The successful candidate will have experience in fleet management, a strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Assesses fitness of the fleet and recommends changes
- Coordinates repair and maintenance of fleet at designated facilities
- Ensures that DOT regulations and policies are communicated and adhered to by employees
- Maintains files, auditing for completeness and accuracy of file content
- Reviews driver’s inspection reports and logs
- Assigns and reviews hours worked at each facility
- Provides or coordinates training of employees
- Establishes and enforces administrative fleet policies and procedures
- Investigates causes of accidents and takes steps to insure that they will not recur
- Reviews complaints from shippers and passengers regarding improper or discourteous service
- Inspects company facilities and equipment throughout division
