Job Description
Ignite your career at Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, value-added components and building services to the professional market. Performs routine loading and unloading of materials within yard or work site; assembles load packages into truck for delivery to customer job sites.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and three (3) months experience performing these or similar tasks; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift certification required
- Ability to read and write to handle work orders and labeling tasks
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to use simple hand tools
- Knowledge of safety procedures while performing forklift driving and materials handling tasks
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to count items and verify against prepared lists
