Job Description
Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment and machinery. They will assist in fabrication and/or adjustment of machine parts and components, lubricate machinery and equipment, and perform tasks related to welding and assembly.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Technical education in mechanics or related field
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance of equipment in a port or industrial setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Availability to work rotating shifts
