Recovery Officer

Join Bunnings as a Recovery Officer in our Perth, WA Support Office, and experience a dynamic team culture. As a key member of our Credit team, you will be responsible for managing recovery matters end-to-end, applying strong judgement and problem-solving skills to achieve commercial outcomes. This hands-on role involves influencing outcomes early, resolving complex cases, and navigating situations that may progress to legal action.

Requirements

• Conducting debt recovery activities, including assessment and write-off of bad debts
• Applying sound commercial judgement to assess available equity, risk exposure, and legal costs
• Managing legal recovery processes with external solicitors and collection agencies
• Negotiating payment arrangements with customers
• Maintaining accurate records through reconciliation of payments and invoices
• Reviewing customers for continued trade, analyzing payment behavior and credit bureau reports
