Job Description
HWI is seeking an Application and Technical Support Specialist III to promote HarbisonWalker International refractory products and provide expert technical guidance to customers. The role involves developing marketing strategies, analyzing product needs, and collaborating with R&D on customer problems. Responsibilities include training, presenting at trade shows, and developing new product launch plans.
Requirements
- Four to six years of experience in refractory technical marketing, research, quality assurance, or sales
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Ceramics, Metallurgy, Chemical, Materials Science, or related field
- Knowledge of refractory products, installation methods, construction skills, and customer applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel and PowerPoint expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation planning and delivery
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and business problem solving skills
- Project management skills
- Physical activity requirements (2/3 sitting/speaking, 1/3 standing/walking/lifting)
