Job Description
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Internship role provides a student with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have completed sophomore year with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
- Strong interest in environmental, health, and safety issues
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards preferred
- Basic understanding of environmental and safety risk management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Know and follow all safety rules and procedures
