Job Description
The Relief Worker is responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and security of residents and the facility at Berkana House. This includes offering ongoing support to residents, supervising resident activities, and working from a trauma-informed practice.
Requirements
- Relevant post-secondary education and/or relevant experience
- Understanding of women-centered practice in the criminal justice system
- Strong boundaries, effective communication skills, crisis prevention and intervention skills, and problem-solving ability
