Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

Role Overview

CalPortland is seeking a mechanic to maintain its fleet of vehicles and equipment. Work will be performed in the shop and in the field. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in heavy-duty diesel and medium-duty vehicle repair.

What You Will Do

Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel and gasoline-powered trucks and equipment. Follow safety protocols and ensure vehicles meet company safety standards.

Requirements

• Fleet maintenance mechanic with 3-5 years of experience in heavy-duty diesel and medium-duty vehicle repair
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment
• Computer skills for data entry and work orders
• Experience with basic fabrication, use, and application of welders, plasma, and gas torch systems
• Reliable attendance
