Senior Software Engineer, Mobile

Cambridge Mobile Telematics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile to join their team in making roads safer by making drivers better. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing mobile solutions to promote safe driving, building reliable background mobile data collection services, and collaborating with team members to solve complex problems.

Requirements

• Enhance mobile solutions to promote safe driving while engaging and delighting users
• Experiment with various behavior modification strategies to improve driver behavior
• Build reliable background mobile data collection services critical for analysis of driver behavior
• Solve complex problems and transform them into business solutions in collaboration with team members
• Analyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications suitable for implementation
• Participate in code and design reviews
• Participate in the hiring process
• Guide junior developers on proper software development procedures and methods
• Follow company defined development and operational standards and processes
• Provide on-call support during business critical emergency scenarios. Support and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
• Complete any additional tasks as they arise
