The ideal candidate has at least 5-10+ years of experience in IT Sourcing and a proven track record of delivering significant and sustainable cost reductions.
Requirements
- At least 5-10+ years of experience in IT Sourcing
- Proven track record of delivering significant and sustainable cost reductions through effective implementation of a coherent IT sourcing strategy
- Deep understanding of contract terms and contractual language; proven skills and experience in drafting and redlining contracts
- Good external and internal relationship management and cross-functional leadership skills
- Experienced sourcing practitioner, understanding of best-practice sourcing methodology and a demonstrated track record of working ethically to achieve excellent outcomes
- Experience of leading negotiations with major global infrastructure suppliers
- Knowledge of the sourcing marketplace and trends in the industry, as well as regulatory climate, including the ability to assess the impact of change in the context of the sourcing strategy
- Expert analytics and ability to develop coherent and high-quality sourcing collateral including business cases, contract summaries, presentations, and RFx materials
- Experience in building strong relationships with senior IT and business executives
