Medical Laboratory Technologist - National Immunohematology Reference Laboratory

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their Medical Laboratory & Stem Cell Services team in Brampton, ON. The successful candidate will perform routine testing, manage blood and blood component inventory, and perform various laboratory duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology training program
• Certification or eligibility for certification by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science
• Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
• Experience in antibody investigations and blood group discrepancies
• General knowledge of hospital and laboratory policies and procedures
• Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships
• Competency in the use of Laboratory software and Microsoft Office
