Job Description
As Engineering Manager - Video Performance, you will lead a specialized team of performance and systems engineers, shape the long-term performance roadmap for the Video Group, and partner with various teams to ensure performance is considered in product development.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in fast-moving, product-focused environments.
- Strong end-to-end systems thinking across frontend, backend, and native engines, particularly in video or other performance-critical applications.
- Ability to translate high-level performance ambitions into clear, actionable engineering roadmaps that drive measurable user impact.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Balance between long-term architectural quality and pragmatic delivery, prioritizing user experience outcomes.
