Job description
Lead AI Engineer will partner with a cross-functional team to deliver AI-powered products that change how associates work and how customers interact with Capital One. The role will involve designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting AI software components, leveraging a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components, including foundation model training, large language model inference, similarity search, guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
Ideal candidate will have a passion for building systems, taking pride in quality work, and sharing Capital One's passion to do the right thing. The candidate will be deeply technical, with a strong foundation in engineering and mathematics, and expertise in hardware, software, and AI.
