Job Description
Capital Power is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician II to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a steam and gas-fired cogeneration facility.
Requirements
- Diagnose and resolve plant control and instrumentation issues that impact availability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Monitor gas turbines start to ensure dispatch targets are met, initiate corrective actions, and document start failures.
- Develop procedures, test plans, and accept criteria for integrated plant systems and computerized control schemes.
- Maintain cybersecurity for industrial control systems, including backups and patching of cyber assets.
