Sr. Manager, Data Science – Pricing Algorithms

CarMax is seeking a Sr. Manager, Data Science – Pricing Algorithms to develop optimal pricing strategies, lead a team of data scientists, and build artificial intelligence to autonomously price vehicles. The role requires exceptional business knowledge, creativity, vision, and analytic skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, leadership skills, and experience in strategy, analytics, and data science.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Math, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering)
• Advanced Degree (Master’s/Ph.D.) is a plus
• 4+ years experience in strategy, analytics and/or data science
• Leadership skills necessary to build a highly engaged team and to work cross functionally to implement new pricing strategies
