Mechanical Engineer

Carmeuse is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Operations/Process/Project Management team. This role involves developing plans for Capex projects, providing support for systems design, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. The position requires a safety focus, strong mechanical engineering skills, and experience with software and financial principles. Requirements

• Design or troubleshoot systems using mechanical equipment.
• Understand various codes and regulations (NFPA, MSHA, CEMA, AISC, OSHA).
• Strong mechanical engineering skills.
• Project scheduling and basic accounting principles.
• Safety focus and proactive attitude towards mine and plant safety.
• Excellent personnel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong quantitative problem solving and time management skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
