Job Description
Carmeuse is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to project development through the complete lifecycle of Capex projects. This role involves reviewing design changes, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The engineer will work in close collaboration with plant team members and manage resources effectively.
Requirements
- Able to design or troubleshoot systems using mechanical equipment
- Understanding of codes and regulations (NFPA, MSHA, CEMA, AISC, OSHA)
- Strong mechanical engineering skills
- Project scheduling and basic accounting principles
- Safety focus
- Ability to work under supervision and with multiple projects simultaneously
