Job Description
Carmeuse is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of operational projects. The role involves design, review, and analysis of systems, mechanical equipment, and regulatory compliance. The engineer will also provide troubleshooting, design, and maintenance support. Strong project management and communication skills are required.
Requirements
- Able to design or troubleshoot systems using mechanical equipment
- Understand codes and regulations (NFPA, MSHA, CEMA, AISC, OSHA)
- Project scheduling and basic accounting principles
- Strong safety focus
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in project engineering
