Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake’s data platform and strong expertise in SQL, Python, and data reporting tools such as Tableau. The Snowflake Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines, as well as developing analytics capabilities to support business intelligence and decision-making across the organization.

What You Will Do

Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines, develop analytics capabilities, perform advanced data calculations, prepare and automate detailed real-time reports, develop and optimize data pipelines, implement Snowpark, leverage Snowflake’s Time Travel features, manage Snowflake's Zero Copy Cloning, and develop dynamic dashboards on Tableau.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience working with Snowflake Data Cloud and its key functionalities
• Proficiency in programming with Python for data processing and analytics
• Advanced SQL skills, including working with window functions for complex calculations and analysis
• Experience developing interactive dashboards with Tableau or similar visualization tools
• Strong understanding of data engineering best practices, including data integrity, compliance, and real-time data ingestion techniques
• Familiarity with cloud data architecture and concepts such as Zero Copy Cloning and scalable application development
