Job Description
We are recruiting for a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to be based in Bristol, UK. The successful applicant will lead the Building related Civil Engineering Design activities within the Balance of Plant and Conventional Island package for SZC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in civil engineering
- Civil engineering design office experience
- Experience in the nuclear sector would be advantageous
- Knowledge and understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering
- Knowledge of the design and detailing of reinforced concrete
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
- Knowledge of the ETC-C design code would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the HPC civil engineering design sequence and/or experience on HPC project would be advantageous
- Knowledge of software: Microsoft Word/Excel, PDMS (or any 3D design software), Autocad 2D and Tekla and Navisworks
